A sophisticated routing algorithm calculates the safest possible individual route from the respective place of residence to the corresponding school. The user-friendly, digital reporting function for danger spots on school routes enables regular surveys of parents and pupils. The structured recording of reports on the portal can optionally be expanded to include other areas of school mobility management. Typical questions can also be integrated in the form of online surveys. The findings on the subjective perception of safety are incorporated into a comprehensive road safety analysis. In addition to reporting behavior, this also takes into account the general accident situation and safety-critical driving maneuvers of motor vehicles.
The functions of the school route planner also offer helpful support for traffic planning offices that carry out school route planning projects on behalf of local authorities. The data can be used for detailed analyses by the engineering office and further validated by site inspections. Project results can be recorded in the digital plan.
